Position: Paid Search & Ecommerce Strategist

Path Interactive, Inc., an NYC-based digital agency, is looking for a Paid Search & Ecommerce Strategist with significant experience optimizing paid search (SEM/PPC), and ecommerce advertising accounts.

 

This manager-level position manager will be responsible for 2 – 3 ecommerce accounts – directing and implementing strategy & tactics, managing staff, and driving results for our clients. The Strategist will be an integral part of the Path Interactive team.

 

The successful candidate will contribute to Path Interactive’ s knowledge base by creating and sharing case studies, POVs and seminar/conference/webinar summaries, as well as maintain constant communications with other team members, clients and agency partners on the success of active campaigns.

General Responsibilities

Some of the tasks associated with this position are listed below. This is not an inclusive list as this area of marketing is under continuous development.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing account plans and schedules, and oversee their implementation
  • Managing ecommerce-related communication with clients
  • Consulting on clients’ shopping feeds
  • Managing shopping campaigns and dynamic retargeting in Google, Bing, YouTube, Amazon, Pinterest, Facebook, and any other platform that fits our clients’ needs
  • Ensuring testing schedules are up-to-date on all accounts, learnings are being applied throughout each account, and that tests focus on the areas with the highest potential effects
  • Sharing interesting test results with the rest of the team; ensure that applicable learnings are applied across all accounts

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of three (2.5) years hands-on paid search experience is required. 2+ years of ecommerce experience is preferred.
    • Please note: people without hands on paid search and/or ecommerce experience should not apply for this position
  • Experience with 3rd party SEM management software and Analytics Tools (Marin/Kenshoo/Acquisio/etc, Google Analytics, Omniture) preferred.
  • An inquisitive nature. You should be excited to check the data on all accounts and curious to find out the causes and effects of tests/changes/etc.
  • Ability to find the story within the data. Not just the “what,” but the “why”
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, with a desire to work as a member of a team
